Tina, my youngest daughter (aka "little tinaboppa"), had taken the initiative to travel alone from Queensland, Australia, to visit with her Dad for the summer. She had been promoting tours of the Great Barrier Reef from resorts located on offshore islands. It really was a wonderful surprise and we had a great time with all of the "catching up"!

Situated at the Cape Ann Marina, 'The Gull' restaurant
overlooks the Annisquam River in Gloucester, MA, USA. The river flows from the Gulf of Maine into Gloucester harbor, so that Cape Ann is actually an island.
You may be able to see some pictures, on the wall behind us, of giant bluefin tuna caught from boats fishing out of the marina.
I have spent countless hours out in the Atlantic ocean onboard the sportfisher 'Magic Hatt', with my good friend Capt. Rod Finnerty, chasing these awesome fish with rod and reel gear - they can weigh up to 1000lbs!
